Kids are all back in school. October is about to begin! (My favorite month!)

A scene from last month at our good friends’ house. Everyone was encouraged to pitch tents in the backyard by the pool (that’s ours in the background – you may recognize it from previous camping posts). Wonderful idea, great weekend. I hope they do it again next year!
He’s a great pet; about 25 inches long and loves to eat grass.
The kitten is sleeping on a mailing box on the table while the kid eats Chinese food and plays a game on her iTouch.
We celebrated my wife’s birthday over the weekend and I made her this card. She’s with her favorite kitten, J.J., who’s small now, but, I swear, will be about this size when he’s grown. He’s a poly-dactyl kitty, which explains the “thumbs”.
